Welcome to Our Medical Travel Program
To ensure your safety and the accuracy of your examination, please read the following guidelines carefully. We want your journey to be smooth, comfortable, and efficient.
1. Bowel Preparation is Key For a successful colonoscopy, your gastrointestinal tract must be completely clean.
- Timeframe: You will need 12-15 hours for bowel preparation.
- Instruction: Please strictly follow the hospital’s guide on drinking the oral cleansing solution. Do not skip steps or change the timing.
2. Travel Health Advice: Rest Before Fasting Important: The hospital advises against starting your fasting or bowel prep immediately after a long international flight (unless it is a medical emergency).
- Why? Long-haul travel causes fatigue. Starting a strict fasting regimen while exhausted can lead to severe dizziness, nausea, or vomiting.
- Recommendation: Please allow your body time to recover upon arrival. Eat a light meal and rest before beginning your preparation.
3. Smart Scheduling for a Shorter Stay To minimize your travel time and maximize comfort, we recommend the following schedule:
- Arrive: On the Weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
- Rest: Use the weekend to recover from jet lag and fatigue.
- Examination: Schedule your procedure for early the following week (Monday or Tuesday).
This plan ensures you are physically ready for the prep work and helps shorten your overall stay. Our team is here to help you arrange the most efficient itinerary.
